Goal setting matters

Goals aren’t just be to written down, discussed and dreamed about. Instead they are to be ACHIEVED. To reach your goals you must take ACTION. Let’s take a look at a movie or a play. Each actor has lines to memorize, rehearsals to do before the big show. The same is true for you.

So you have a list of goals. Now what? You have to determine which one or ones to work on first. This can be a bit daunting. I recommend selecting no more than 3 goals to work on at once. One goal should be something easy for you to achieve. Why? As humans we need to have WINS to stay focused and encouraged.

From there you can make a month plan on how much of the goal to achieve. You will create a goal pyramid with the main goal at the top. Then you will have weekly actions to take to achieve the goal and lastly, daily activities you need to undertake to reach your goal.

You will review your goal pyramid daily. This keeps you focused! It can also affirm the path you would like to travel. You can visualize where the pyramid will take you.
