Known as The Original Scope Scribe, Talisha Shine is the current Periscope and Technology Strategist for CATAPULT.me (formerly known as PeriCON) and uses her 16-year IT software support experience, Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems, and Master of Business Administration along with her deep passion for tech and text to assist entrepreneurs in leveraging Periscope, FB Live, and other live streaming platforms to connect, engage, and build their tribes. As an early adopter to Periscope, she has crafted a unique niche within the live streaming arena that increases broadcasters’ impact and revenue while decreasing their learning curve.
Mae Whiteside

Mae C. Whiteside is Founder and President of CKL Engineers, LLC. As President/CEO, Ms. Whiteside develops and maintains client relationships for the firm. She directs all engineering and planning projects acquired by all the organization and oversees the development of innovative project ideas for community areas in blight.
She is a trained civil engineer and is licensed in the state of Illinois. Her capabilities are in field engineering, erosion control inspection, resident engineering, construction contract administration, planning studies, design plan development and utility coordination.

Arvin Poole is a technologist and digital marketer with focus on creating customer-centric web and digital solutions that generate profits for his clients. He has founded and ran several successful startups, for profit and not-for profit, in the education technology, consumer products and digital information markets. He has also been able to effectively build large communities, both online and offline, through his unique approach to targeted marketing tactics and strategies.

Founder, Black Women in Science and Engineering, is a project manager at DRF Industries, an educational consulting firm, and an Operations Excellence Manager
at a Houston oil and gas company. She has an MBA from Georgia Tech, and a dual BS in Chemical Engineering degree from Louisiana Tech University and Southern
University and A&M College at Baton Rouge.
Leslie McKinney
Engineer
Leslie A. McKinney is the Director of the Chicago Chapter of Black Women in Science and Engineering (BWISE), an organization focused on bridging the leadership gap for black women in STEM. She received her Masters of Science in Engineering and Global Operations Management from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY and her Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA.

Attorney Evans career path is unique since she worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for 5 years as both a patent examiner and a trademark examining attorney after graduating from law school.
Evie Totty
Computer Scientist
Evie is a Computer Scientist practicing her craft in Southern Florida. She won the Certificate of Merit award from the Society of Women Engineers in 1987. Her first interest was Electrical Engineering but as the Computing sector took off her path changed. Today she finds herself with the title of Senior Programmer in a Global corporation but hopes to begin a career working for herself. Personally she’s a single mom of two, grandmother of one (two if you count the cat). She has a thirst for pop culture and is technically an extrovert so excursions outside of the home are sometimes necessary.
Natasha Littlejohn
Continuous Improvement Manager
Natasha Littlejohn studied engineering and business at Clemson University and proceeded to work in manufacturing, focusing on continuous improvement of product processes. She was born and raised in upstate South Carolina, never moving far away from her roots. Not long after graduating Clemson University, she became a wife and mother who’s very passionate about being able to do it all and do it well. In her free time, she loves to travel the world, physically and mentally.
Catherine Wiggins
Engineer
Catherine Wiggins is a full-time parent of four children, two cats and a lively lab puppy. She has a degree in Chemical Engineering which she uses almost daily to maintain her household (including repairing all major household appliance). Her career experience includes computer modeling and simulation of deepwater oil and gas fields. Her passions include: writing, public speaking, graphic design, teaching, experimental baking, and reading every non-fiction book at her local library.
